Replicas is an American sci-fi movie about cloning and robots with a brilliant neuroscientist (Keanu Reeves) who is working on re-creating the human brain for Alzheimer's research uses his work to replicate his family members after they're killed in a car accident.
His experiment on transferring the consciousness of a person to a robot repetedly failed. While driving hom with his family they had a traffic accident which took the life of the Mr. Foster's wholle family starting from his wife, 2 daughters and 1 son, but he immediately copied their consciousness before they died.
He got obsessed in bringing back his whole family by the help of his friend Ed they clone Will Foster family erasing the memory of the accident. but the cloning pod is only 3 leaving so he have to draw lot to pick the name of the one who will not be clones.
Dr. Foster also manage to clone his own consciousness without the knowledge of the company he is working with.
He figured out of a way to transfer the consciousness to a human body and his family are back again without any memory of the little girl, his one daughter, that was not cloned... and so he thought.
Ed and Will doens't know that the clones was automatically implanted by a tracker chip in their heart so as to be identified as the property of Dr. Jones Company and so they are chased by the evil boss and the pressure are escalated.
ENDING
In the end Will Foster got her daughter back and Dr. Jones Continue to live his happy life as a clone.
