Episode 1 Facial Paralysis
Education is very difficult to pursue during this era but Jang Nara, played role as He Tianxin - the talented doctor with exceptional skill aet in acupuncture got a change to enter as a palace doctor to practice and to study more to be a medical doctor, she disguised as a male in order to get in the palace.

Episode 18
In this episode Doctor He Tianxin fist met Lin Chun, assistant, and is tasked to tour doctor He around the palace. And Physician Leng and Tian's mother are old friends. Ching accidentally caused fire at Lady Dowager praying temple and they are punished for it. After the punishment Meili He (Tian's mother) was thrown out the palace by the emperor's fay cousin.
Episode 19
When Tian reveled her story on how she learned acupuncture. And the Emperor's fat cousin got stung by wasps. Yi Rou / Officer Mo kept on reporting to Li Gonggong and the Emeror and act as sister to Tian to get information; she is very ambitious.
The Emperor took Tian to a beautiful garden with his hand covering the doctor's eyes; The Emperor is giving her the garden and only she can enter the place and no one else just to make her fell happy and bring back the smile on her face again.
Zhang Zhesan put the wasp hive, ha ha ha. But the fool Yin Yung fell for Lady Mo's trick to take half of the medicine not knowing that it can take her life even consumed in half.
Episode 20
All the evidences points to Tianxin so she enters jail but Zhang Zhesan made a private jail cell looks like a hotel and she got a personal butler as well. Meanwhile her mother is back selling pork meat she received a note that made her entire body shake.
Meili He begged her old friend Physician Leng to help her save her daughter. On the day of the interrogation by Grand Preceptor Zhao the Emperor came to stand aside and witness the interrogation. The Emperor realizes that the use of torture is not an effective way of making the truth come out and so she comforts Tian that he will revise the system somehow.
Episode 21
Grand Receptor Zhao is telling Tian to sign that she is guilty of the crime but she refuses to sign or print her fingerprint and boldly say that she is not guilty. But Tianxing signed it as well.
Next the emperor called on Lin Chun and Zhang Zhesan interrogater her. Meanwhile Doctor Leng found that the pill that took the life of Yinyung has a sugar coating but is very lethat.
Queen Dowager insist that she will be there personally for Tian's last hour in order for the Emperor not to interrupt.
Episode 22 The Parting Words
Tian say goodbye to her mother as her mother rushed to her trying to stop the situation. But the emperor rush in carrying all the previous emperor's urn and vow to queen dawager to give him 2 more days to investigate.
Tian said to her mom" I don't need to find evidence, as long as you believe me I am ok with that".; and someone confesses his crimw out of guilt.
Episode 23 Doll Superstition
Suddenly the Emperor notice something in the crime scene, Meanwhile while the Empress Dowager is praying using the big beads like a rosary, it broke and believed that it is a bad omen. So it is ordered to searched every room in the palace for a taboo object. It was the plot of Lady Mo and her godfather Bau chaun.
Episode 24 Emperor versus Xiaotian.
Someone pulled Zhang Ning, octopus girl, while a conversation with her maid and until night time the maid is searching for her but instead of finding her princess she come across Zhang Zhe San and separately they look for her. With a suspicion Zhang Zhe San kept calling in the well kept shouting Xiang Ning's name but it is just a prank. Xiang Ning snuck and hit Zhang Zhe San and they both fell into the well which do not have water. "If I did not hug you, you will leave the world of the living upon reaching the ground"
Meanwhile while the Emperor is busy with his night desk work he comes to discover the doll that Xiaotian hid.
Zhang Zhe San's leg is broken, rain pours heavily and no one can hear then from the well, but in this episode that some Eunich discover that Zhang Zhe San still has a dick and will be punish by the Empress Dowager. But because of the Emperor Emperor versus Xiaotian. received a light and partial punishment. But the real plan is to bring Zhe San as far from the palace and end his life. Zhesan is a very lucky man.
Episode 25 Bau Chuan and Zhao versus Zhe San
Because of the humiliation felt by MinisterZhao about Zhe San and his daughter alone in the well he sent three men to finish-off Zhe San but he doesn't know that her daughter rescued this brave and righteous man.
Doctor Tian ask Lin Chun about the doll and said that she only repaired athe doll and made some dress for it and about the birthday stuffed inside the doll she doesn't know. Zhe San has been treated medical attention by the mischievous doctor.
Lady Mo wanted to have an intimate moment with the emperor and she succeeded. Xiaotian discovered what happened and witness the emperor and Lady Mo naked. And lso they got visited by the Queen and saw the situation and ordered to make Lady Mo a concubine.

Episode 26 The Proud Concubine
There is someone tailing the movement of Xiaotian and ninja-like men sneak to the place where Zhe San is esting. Meanwhile the Emperor is hiding himself from Lady Mo.
The mastermind to various crimes revealed. But in order for the Emperor to gather evidence he made the high ranking officer to not tell about their confrontation.
Now it is fulfilled that lady Mo is named an honored Consort. while Meili gave XiaoTian a list of bachelors that she might like. Concubine Mo introduce Tian to the idea of the black medicine's existence. And it turn out to have serious side effects. It has come to Tian's wisdom that Lady Mo is not as nice as she thinks she is.

Now Tian is being hostaged by Concubine Mo and her servants.

The door of Tian's room is still locked and when she was discovered to be awake Concubine Mo tend to increase the dosage of the medicine that will be given to her.

Tian escape again and now for real while concubine Mo is having a chit chat with Zhao Xiang Ning. Zhe San discovers that he is being followed by the Emperor and he told him what really happened to Tian but the Emperor has a little doubt.

Zhao Xiang Ning is getting cuter and cuter everytime. Maybe it is her acting skills.
Episode 31
The Emperor ask Physician Leng to make a medicine to cure addiction, even doctor Leng kew about the big black ball that can cause addiction, then he delivered the medicine to Zhe San's house hoping to see Tian.
Episode 32
Tian wanted to ome back at the palace to formally study medicine but the Queen barter with a condition to the Emperor, upon Tian's acceptance he must sleep with Yi Rou every night until she bears a child.
You should watch the scene when Zhao Xiang Ning slam Zhe San onto a bowl of noodles.

Episode 33 The real identity of He Tian Xi
Bauchaun and Minister Zhao found out that Tian has a book in possession that was made by the late Palace Doctor.
Madam Meili he is hurt and there is an order for the palace soldiers to hunt them. All of the pharmacies are guarded by imperial guards under the order of Bauchaun so Zhe San will sneak to the palace clinic to get medicines and he was caught. Cui Huan has been promoted into an officer right after the capture of Zhe San.
XiaoTian hit the drum of the palace which means that she is seeking justice and not hiding. The emperor will question her personally. She claims that she is the descendant of the late physician Chu Hong.
Because Zhe San saves Octopus girl and she has a thing with Zse San, she bargained with her father to release Zhe San and she will not leave the palace and agree to the arrange marriage her father wishes. And in an instant Zhe San is released.
Episode 34 Cui Huan caught by Concubine Mo
Chua XiaoTien: ""If I cannot find out the truth and cannot protect these books, then these injuries ar enothing"
The Emperor is overwhelmed by Concubine Mo's advice of instead of proving who is wrong all the Emperor's needed to do is to prove their innocense. And seek who adviced his father about the wrong decision.
The Emperor thought that Concubine's Mo's pregnancy is real.
Zhe San: "Well I live ina stone house, if you change your mind you know where to find me."
It looks like Zhe San is serious speaking to Zhao Xiang Ning this time.

There are no errors in the books and they are just waiting for the certificate from the Academians, Physician Leng said that no one can match Physician Chu's skill in acupuncture and Chu is a very kind hearted man.

At this very moment Grand Preceptor Zhao retracted his will to force marry his daughter , the octopus girl, to the man she does not love; maybe because of his heart failing. But all those talk is all just a crap.
Zhe San was ordered to bring the remaining medicine books within two hours or Stone's life will end. And so Zhe San made a copy of the books. And later Zhe San buried Stone (his friend kid).
Episode 35 The missing books is at He Mei Li's possession
There are so many who participated in writing th book but only 12 got framed. The Emperor decifer the the code the lat Physician Chu left.
Now that XiaoTian's father was proven innocent then she is a free citizen.
"When you get better remember to hit my second brother as hard as you can and don't hold back" the doctor found out that Ms. Zhao's organs are severely injured and Minister Zhao was advice by the doctress to spend time with his daughter.
When Zhe San visited the octopus girl, she made Zhe San promise that he will not harm her father.
On another day XiaoTian came back to octopus girl to give her accupuncture, theraphy and medicines to regain her good health. The crucial theraphy will take about 24 hours of continous theraphy, with the proper timing of when to prick the needle at a certain accu point.
Minister Zhao apologizes sincerely to XiaoTian.
"Even if he done countless worng, he is still my father and I will not let you talk to him like that."
The search for faqs was started by the Emperor with Minister Zhao.
Episode 36 Reverse Psycology
The Emperor uses reverse psycology to preceptor Zhao to learn the truth about the sudden departure of his father, the late Emperor.
Ling Chun's carelessnes causes her to suck the snake's venom out of XiaoTian's wound using her mouth and what happens next is very self explanatory.. After that testimonies are one by one surfing out.
While on a short walk as an exercise Zhao Xiang Ning asked Zhe San to protect her father as well.
When Minister Zhao is ready to tell the story of the final days of the late Emperor, the current emperor was summonrd because of the Queens headache. Grand preceptor got another heart attack by the time he saw Li Bau Chuan coming.
Grand preceptor Zhao hid the confession letter underneathe the Emperor's carpet.
Episode 37 the Greatest Actor in the Palace
The Queen has no headache, she just wanted to ask about the result of XiaoTian's petition on her father's case.
The Emperor found the letter under the carpet in his office, thanks to the storm. He confronted and cross-examined Li Bau Chaun.
The Emperor is digging for some evidences, when he cannot find one he act as he is sleep and Li Bau Chuan took some action to end his life. But Li Bau Chaun bad intention failed.
Li Bau Chaun was summoned by the Queen and another acting masterpiece we must watch.
There is an edict from the late Emperor that he wanted to remove the Queen and er son out of the palace thus the reason why he ended the late emperor's life. Just to protect them.
Li Bauchaun was sentence for banishment for 20 years.
Episode 38 Karma
Consort Mo visited Li Bau Chuan and gave him a heart attact and then she left smirring and proud saying these words: "Karma is an excuse of a loser"
XiaoTian is with her mother/auntie again as she claimed she won't be going back to the Palace but she was summon to the palace because of the queen's headache. They found out that the queen needs an operation really badly and they can use the black scent as anesthesia.
Later that day Physician Leng reported to the E,peror and said that because of Li Bauchuan he is force to lie to the Emperor that Consort Mo is pregnant but the truth is she was never pregnant. The angry Emperor scold Consort Mo confronts him with a shouting voice.
After Consort Mo has been disowned by the Emperor, the next story is about the Queens surgery on the clogged veins in her head.
The operation is a success.
"Thank you Mother" XiaoTian become the crowned Empress. They visited Meili and received her blessing. And Zhe San and Ms. Zhang are couple now.
OMG this drama has so many episodes but every episodes are worth the watch.
